Name Our New Puppies!
Every year, several litters of puppies are born at Krabloonik. It is our responsibilty that they grow up to be fine, well socialized, working sled dogs.
At first, the puppies live together in a pen, but on graduation day, they will have their own house, collar, chain, food bowl and name. We would love for you to help our mushers come up with good names for our puppies.

Naming tips:
Naming a whole litter with a common theme helps us figure out siblings quicker. For example, we have beans (Kidney & Pinto), dwarfs (Sleepy, Dopey & Sneezy) and bears (Panda, Grizzly & Bear)
Naming a puppy with a variation of a parents name is common. For example, Cosmo beget Cosmet, Solita beget Solice, Kracko beget Kracker.
We sometimes name dogs based on color. For example Snowball & Ghost.

A Krabloonik Dog Sled Ride is an exciting 2 hour trip through the pristine Snowmass/Aspen wilderness. Each sled, which can carry two adults and a small child, is pulled by 10 Alaskan sled dogs and guided by an experienced musher. Our dogs are born and bred to run and they love the thrill of the run just as much as you will. Whether sunny or snowing, you will experience an Aspen wilderness adventure as never before.

Tours are offered morning, afternoon and at twilight. The package price includes a gourmet lunch or dinner served in a private room at world-class Krabloonik Restaurant. 

Morning and Afternoon Rides

Our exciting half-day morning and afternoon trips are approximately 1.5 hours in length. A complimentary 3-course gourmet lunch in our upstairs private dining room is included. (Alcohol and gratuity is not included).

Cost*:  Adult $285.00 Child 3-8 years $195.00

Children under 3 years old are not permitted on the ride.

* Our high season is from December 20th thru January 8th.  Sledding prices are slightly higher during that time. 

MORNING RIDE GUESTS MUST BE AT THE RESTAURANT BY 8:30 A.M. SHARP. At this time, for your safety, you are required to view a short video before departure at 9:00 a.m. You will return at approximately 11:00 a.m. for lunch.The afternoon ride customers MUST BE AT THE RESTAURANT NO LATER THAN 12:30 P.M.

AFTERNOON RIDE GUESTS MUST BE AT THE RESTAURANT NO LATER THAN 12:30 P.M. After your lunch, for your safety, you are required to view a short video. The sled ride will begin at 1:45 p.m. and return at approximately 3:45 p.m.

The twilight dinner ride is a romantic excursion through a still, snowy wonderland. You will enjoy the stillness of the trail and the spectacular alpenglow as you hurtle down the mountain pulled by our powerful huskies and guided by one of our expertly trained mushers. Our twilight rides leave the kennel at dusk and upon your return, you are treated to a full 4-course dinner in our dining room. (Alcohol and gratuity is not included).

Cost: Adult $340  Child 3-8 years $270.

TWILIGHT DINNER RIDE GUESTS MUST BE AT THE RESTAURANT BY 3:30.  Prior to the ride, for your safety, you are required to view a short video. After the ride, dinner will be served at 6:00.

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, NO ONE IS PERMITTED IN THE KENNEL AREA WITHOUT THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF KRABLOONIK EMPLOYEES. WHEN ON A RIDE, EVERYONE MUST REMAIN WITH THE KRABLOONIK EMPLOYEE.
